• Communications on the Move (COTM): Military vehicles, such as armored personnel carriers, tanks, and other mobile assets, rely on COTM capabilities to stay connected with command centers, share real-time data, and receive mission-critical information.
• Communications on the Pause (COTP): During tactical pauses or operational stops, such as setting up a temporary base or gathering intelligence, COTP ensures that vital communications are maintained without interruptions.
• Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs): Military SATCOM facilitates command and control of UAVs, enabling operators to remotely pilot the aircraft, receive sensor data, and transmit live video feeds for reconnaissance, surveillance, and targeting purposes.
• Armored Fighting Vehicles (AFVs): Military SATCOM ensures that AFVs have continuous access to secure voice and data communication networks, enabling coordination with other units and accessing real-time intelligence updates, situational awareness data, and mission instructions.
• Manpack Terminals: These terminals allow soldiers to stay connected with their units and headquarters, access mission-specific data, and request support during operations in remote or challenging terrains.

Our MIL-SPEC design and quick-to-deploy solutions are field-proven and consist of fully integrated VSAT systems that ensure seamless connectivity in any field condition for both on-the-move and on-the-pause missions. Gilat’s SATCOM networks support voice, video and data communications, military C5ISR and border patrol activities with full interoperability among land, sea and airborne forces, drastically reducing the time between decision, implementation and evaluation. In addition, Gilat’s low SWaP systems allow military and border patrol teams to exploit the full potential of long-endurance missions with airborne, maritime and land-based communications.
